Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

Here's mine... I only have to use 4 wheels when it's icy or snowing out. That only happens about two to three weeks a year. Then I drive my '67 LWB.
First for the rainy days,
next for every other day 46k on the rain bike so far, and 45k on the glide. I'll put at least 100k on each before I decide to change.

2007 Chevy 2500 express van. Think everyone should know what they look like. I don't have any pictures of it.

I came very very very close to buying a used Zr2 in 05, I actually looked at several of them, I loved how the 98-02's looked, but they wanted used full size truck money for them, so I bought a Z71 instead.

i looked for over a year for one. i'm a manual guy and at the time they just seemed imposible too find in stick.
when i found this one the $ and mileage was rite and i loved the color i didnt like the auto and the ac but i figured if the woman HAD too drive it she could.

i bought a '91 in '94 that was almost identical too this one just older it was stick and it didnt have the extended cab. I loved that lil' truck it treated me well at 200k mi. i traded it in on this one.

the zr2 package has alot of nice features for a s10 but overall it really doesnt get much better fuel mi. than a fullsize.

That was another reason that pushed me to a full size.

Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

'04 Colorado I bought two years ago with 10,180k on the odo. It has 26k now.....Single cab, 2wd and a four. I get great mileage out of it. It hauls what I need to and has working heat and ac. That's my only concession to fancy.

I must be the Oddball.I daily a 2000 Dodge Dakota.I find the size to be great for DD duty and the 3.9 has had a water pump.Other than oil changes and maintenance stuff that's all I've done to it.It gets about 16-17 in town and 20-22 on the hiway. The paint is getting rough on the roof.

Re: what is your daily driver vehicle

Drove a F250 diesel for 8 years. (I know it was a Ford) but I finally got wiser and sold it and bought a 2010 Honda Civic. My commute to work is 94 miles per day and this Honda gets 34mpg. I mean it could be worse. I could be driving a Prius!

Driving any of the vehicles you mention isn't a bad thing...being unemployed would be worse.
