Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually

yo D looks good..

Btw you can also use a 3/4 ton rear out of a suburban if you cant find a cab and chassis. Or you can use those axles on shorten a dually rear end...

Did you decide to go with the Semis?

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually

Dino,... are you going to run narrowed a-arms and dually rotors up front?
Or lengthened a-arms and standard 3/4-ton rotors?

Diesel Wheels makes some cool "direct-fit" 8-lug wheels that don't require $1k worth of adapters to use the 10-lug Semi wheels.

Dino,

This is too cool, How do you find the time to do all this in such a short time frame. Between your appliance business, family, friends and taking your helper mechanic to the vet, there can't be that much time in one day!!

Over budget already? There's no stinking budget on these things!. these trucks are money pit's!... Money is NO option, just keep throwing money at it. Do what I do, keep only the important receipts. A paper trail is evidence that will be used against you the next time the wife is in a bad mood. Pay cash $ for as much as you can!... You really don't want to know the final $ amount. Of course you could get alot more done if you were just sleeping out with the DOG'S in your garage!!!!...

Hmmm. A narrowed dually conversion on Semi wheels.

I've heard that somewhere before!

No worries. Some other people would get butt-hurt over it, but I'm a firm believer in exchange of ideas and information and innovation for the betterment of any hobby.

If you decide to use a 14 bolt rear for some reason, let me know.

I think i have a cost effective alternative for the rear bolt pattern / brake setup to run 10 lug / lug-centric wheels without adapters to save money, weight, space, and time.

If you're interested, I can make another set while I'm making mine to safe cost and time. (Easier to do it all at once as a "production run")...

Shoot me a PM if you're interested in chatting about the idea.
