That blue 66 has to be a new favorite of mine. I usually don't care for stacks on pickups but they work on that one. Wow...gorgeous truck!

Any spring shop can make them. If you have a 2 wheel drive fabtech has lifted spindles.

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
Here is a nice 1966 gmc 4x4 that was owned by member Calitruckgrl1 who posted it on here around 3 years ago. I have not seen her on here anymore as I think she has sold this truck.

Sweet pickups! No pics to share yet, but I am looking into doing a 4x4 swap with my spare '65 roller. Subscribing for sure.

66 Gilbert - Great looking truck (red long bed). What size tires and rims are those?

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
You must be talking about the truck on the first post. It's not mine but wish it was. I think the wheels are stock 16x5.5 and i think the tires are 7.50 X 16 Super Traction Power Kings. From your profile I see that you like the stock tire and wheel look and are looking for 17.5X5.25 wheels. These will be difficult to find. Here are some with the stock look.

61 Forestry 4x4,
Here are a Chevy and GMC Crew Cab 3/4 ton 4x4's. Not sure of the tire and rim size, look bigger than 17.5 they may be 19.5? |

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
I agree with you on a later post 61 forestry 4x4, 16's would be better. I bought my damn near bone stock '64 C20 stepside with later 8 lug rims that has toyo open country AT's on them. I wish I had a picture to post but right now I'm on deployment so yeah, not the time I can upload pic in the middle of an ocean. 66Gilbert, I sent you an email similar to 61 Forestry 4x4 and didn't follow on until it was too late looking at his post about that longbed that you posted first on.

Re: 60-66 Chevy And GMC 4X4's Gone Wild
Agreed .... they look to be the 19.5s. Very cool!!!
Thanks for the note. I'm going to keep looking for the 17.5s but may have to just have to suck it up and buy tires for the 16s I already have. |

61 forestry i think your truck would look best with the 16s on it than the 17s.
