Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

cash3481, Interested in the # 18 $40 column pending condition. I need a complete column with all brackets for my '71 4x4 I am converting from 4 spd. std. to TH350 auto. Have a floor shift tilt right now, looking for a auto column, drop in useable and complete. Would prefer tilt but NEEDING a auto to make the swap first. I will be at the swap meet Fri. and Sat in Pavillion 1, SE corner near roll up door. Would be great if you could bring the column with you, maybe we can work a trade or cash sale outright.

Chachi: Dented (twisted down) from pushing it with a front end loader (PO). and so is the grill but just slightly. D/S bezel is good but P/S is tweeked too much to use.

Casey: Sent the bolts to you 2 day. Shipping was covered with what you sent, so I spent it all. Hope that helps.

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Mike,

Just wanted to let you know I am still here and still interested. Take your time - I am in no rush. I am picking up my A/C cab on Monday, and it will be a while before I get to installing any of this stuff!

I had to print out your list and highlight lines to make sure I did not get confused. Just to make sure we are on the same page:

I absolutely want the washer bottle and bracket, the dome light, and A/C heater controls.

I also want the outside heater box and all the interior A/C - Heat parts (duct's vents, etc.) except for the inner heater box. I might be interested in #36 package with the outer heater box for $100, but I need to see a photo to get my mind around your description of the issues with it.

Looking forward to hearing from you with prices and pics.

Thanks!!

Darien

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Question to anyone who reads this: I am assuming there is no difference in the glove box lid between A/C and non-A/C cabs; would I be right?

Re: parting out 72 GMC LB BB

Mike, I forgot to ask you about #1 - I am installing an automatic shift column in my truck with a TH350. Will the shifter linkage you describe in #1 work for that? If so, then I will take it.

Can you post a pic of the linkage setup?

Vents are pretty nice, I'll get pics in the morning. They are removed already along with everything from the doors.
