yeah, dieseldawg is the black one. some days he thinks he's superdawg, leap creeks in a single bound, climb mountains. he got a little cocky on the mountain, mis-stepped & i had to grab him by the scruff. my brown cow is a cranky girl (dixie), heck, some days she's so grinchy, she doesn't even like herself!

was able to wrangle a week out of the boss. went to a couple small lakes.
road in was 'bout 10% grade, a lot of off camber, some big rocks & ruts with a few drop-offs
biggest fear was running in to someone else. road was pretty much single lane

thanks guys. it aint nothing fancy, just a '89 8 footer i picked up for $1500, then spent another $500 getting it the way we like. much better then the friggin tent!
probably takes me longer to load the toys then the camper

back in the early 90's, we took my '68 910 custom cab on a 2500 mile trip up to boya lake (yukon border), pulling our restored '71 McCloud Hiawatha tent trailer. 383 never missed a beat, nor did we even get a flat (even though i brought 2 spares). have 8 or 9 rolls of incredible scenery & wildlife, these are pictures of pictures
