Here's my 69 GMC 2 1/2" drop spindle ,15x8 (255/60/15) up front , 4" drop leaf , 15x10 (275/60/15) at rear

A dropped spindle with the stock spring will ride the same as stock. The spring rate does not change with a spindle swap.
