Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
Ok guys I'm ready to start selling these wheel wells. First 10 sets $750 shipped in the lower 48 states. You can purchase them from my online store. http://www.hillsrodandcustom.com/?page_id=19
Sorry for such a delay. It has been hectic with other projects, getting boxes made, and finding a shipping company. Curt Hill. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
Curious on the fronts, too. Looks like stock style upper mounting- do you section the inside of the fender? Also, do they bolt to the core support and cab?

Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
The rears bolt up from the bottom to the quarter panel. A piece should be fabricated and welded in. The rest of the bolts are like stock. The rear wheel wells have been widened to fit a wider rear tire. The fiber glass can be trimmed to keep stock wide very easily. Check out the picture

Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
Front wheel wells bolt in from the bottom like the originals. The fender has to be cut up raise them for tire clearance. Hood hinges will be removed and need to install cowl mounted ones. There is no welding with the front install.

Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
The new wheel wells are don't use the upper mounts to the fender. A person could simply add tabs to use the recesses like the stock ones this (step would require welding) To solve this problem a rubber gasket is supplied. the new wheel wells are much stronger. They still bolt in like the stock wells to the rad support, cowl, along with around the wheel opening.

I have to clarify to the first 10 sets, they are the front wheel wells not a complete front and rear combo. Sorry for any confusion.

Re: Wheel wells for 67-72
The production wheel wells are a grey gel coat. These wheel wells black or grey should be painted after you have fitted them.

Just made Porterbuilt a dealer for the wheel wells and I'm also a dealer for him as well. So when you buy a dropmember buy a set of these to!
