Re: The man is after me again.

Put a couple turbo's on it... They are just trying to get you to quiet down our truck. They have no records or idea what stock on your truck is/was...
The parts books dont even have one of the rear most pipes available.
Just put on a couple cheap new turbo's and take it down there.

Re: The man is after me again.

Wow. I am simply astonished at the number of responses this thread got - thank you all for your input.

Upon some research and calling around, I'm just going to pick up two turbo mufflers, and put them on, and have a county deputy that we know come out and get the ok.

I would just go and get it checked out with the glasspacks - but they are in fact illegal, atleast in Wisconsin. And all the officer would have to do is look under the truck, and be like, "...no dice."

So, I'm going to bite the bullet, scrape together some change, and head to the parts store Wednesday I think.

Now I just have to decide if I want to spring for Thrush Turbo's, or Cherry Bomb Turbo's. Decisions...Decisions...

Thanks again all.

-Sam.

I have since changed it over to manifolds and single 2 1/2" with one imitation Hushpower II.

Re: The man is after me again.

Hah, at least the cop was cool about it man. Though, 12 inch glasspacks...dayum, that baby had some bite to 'er.

If there's any descrepancy, I get put on the dB meter. But, I'm hoping there's not after I change 'em out...
