Re: Pics of Z71 Bed on 67-72
I've seen a few of these with this combo and thought it looked ok.The pics with the shaved rear step makes all the differance IMO.I like the way the body lines flow well together, the only thing missing are a set of these on the front steps, again just my opinion.

Re: Pics of Z71 Bed on 67-72
do you know where i can get a set of those steps? i was thinking of having some mad out of diamond plate...
also, i do like the 67-72 rear wheel opening when the rear step is shaved...but then the front step bothers me...would be curious to see what it would look like without the front step...

Re: Pics of Z71 Bed on 67-72
Okay if you guys want to see a bed that looks really good on these trucks check this out. I got this from a thread I started in the photoshop forum. I would section the bed, make sure all the body lines match and rework the fender lip to match the front. I want to talk my dad into this bed swap on his 67 shortie!

Here's one I saw at Buck motorsports park on Saturday night. It has a 24 valve cummins turbo diesel in it.

Re: Pics of Z71 Bed on 67-72
I think the main issue I have with the swap is that the top of the rear fenderwell is still squarish even after the bottom is rounded off...I submit my PS solution to the court
