not to worry im intrested in this thread to see where it goes. still kicking around ideas for my panel. and these are a few that i found and liked. just thoughts right now but the build is up for about any thing. i have even thought about cutting the rear barn doors in half and makeing the top half raise like the clam shell and the bottom half the barn door.

Newbie here... Just curious if there are any modifications needed to bolt on a 62 C10 front grill to a 69 C10?? Or is it just a simple bold on application? I'm in a toss up on either purchasing a 66 c10 or 69 c10.

Yes there will be modifications.
If the '62 Grill is a steel one there will be a weight difference too.
In 1969 The Chevy trucks featured a single round headlight outlined by a square border at each end,
separated by a horizontal bar with 'Chevrolet' embossed into it. The Bow Tie emblem was moved
to the nose of a more upright hood.
It could be done. After work I will hold up my steel painted grille up to a '69 that is in the shop and show you how it would look.

This car/truck, affectionately named "Freak Show" by it's owner was pictured in the SEMA Show Recap article on pages 42 and 43 of the January 2008 issue of Ol' Skool Rodz.

I'm not sure, but I believe this rod came off the assembly line as a mid-60's Chevrolet or GMC pickup. Obviously, this thing has been through some seriously wicked modifications!
Flame job, suicide doors, leopard and white interior, and this INCREDIBLE "ghost" Aztec mural on the tonneau cover just to name a few.
