Valhalla... I know this is pretty far down the road. but have you thought about what tank you are going to run for your bags and where you are going to mount it?

Re: Project TiC TaC cause it gonna be orange.....

I haven't found anyone that has mounted a 5 gallon tank under a SWB with a relocated tank. I ordered the same air setup and had to call them back and get two 3 gallon tanks.

I only have a mild notch like his build.... And I am running dual exhaust. Prob can be done without duals.

My exhaust will be terminated out the side just past the doors.

I am an expert at sticking big things in small place where they don't belong. When it comes to cars of course.

Waiting on parts absolutely sucks. I haven't been able to do anything work talking about to the project in 3 weeks now.

Ever went to the PO Box and saw those big packages with your number on them and been like helllll yeahhhh.... the rear end parts I have been waiting for for about a month now came with good new and with bad new.

Good new is they look cool as hell and finally arrived

Bad new Wrong size ring gear. FML...

Re: Project TiC TaC cause it gonna be orange.....

Well after running into several nightmares along the way I have just decided to order a Moser rear end and be done with it. Piecing together what I want its not really a big savings over getting the big boy built by the pros. 1 week build time from date of order.

Re: Project TiC TaC cause it gonna be orange.....

Nice sounds like a bullet proof drivetrain. I noticed we are using alot of the same parts. Mild PB dropmember, 6.2/4l80. Are you beefing up the motor at all?

Looking good!!!

Re: Project TiC TaC cause it gonna be orange.....

Prolly wont do a whole lot to the motor. Basic bolt on type stuff. If I do anything a hybrid procharger set up would be my first choice.

Just wished I hadn't wasted so much time muddle F'ing with the rear end I had and ordered the Moser set up right off the bat like my buddy told me to do. I could have had this thing as a rolling chassis a long time ago.

Re: Project TiC TaC cause it gonna be orange.....

Well unfortunately my buddy that owns the shop I'm building it at had to undergo major surgery and almost lost his leg. He has had the shop closed for a few months now so I'm just waiting for him to heal up.

Good thing is its allowing me to save tons of cash .

He should be back next month and then it's on again.
