It looks like you will have plenty of room for whatever type of exhaust you want to run with the way the frame is setup. Looks nice.

What type of serpentine brackets are those? Just curious...

Re: project 62

You could just buy a header kit if that's the route you wanted to go. Well, actually, I guess it would be the flanges and several prebent mandrels and a collector.

That's interesting on the brackets. I had never seen that style before. Looks cool on that TPI motor.

I'm also guessing that you are upgrading the cam seeing as to how it's hanging halfway out of the motor.

Re: project 62

well that is actually a flat cam from way back and i am using it as a handle to move the block around, its actually a 305 block with just some old heads laying around im using as a mock up motor. Dont want to bang around and get the new machined ones dirty

Re: project 62

Well its been slow, still waiting to see if im getting layed off before i put any money into it
But today i did put the crankshaft in the mock up engine and got all serp setup on and working on the brackets for the york compressor, and cut some pieces for the front frame to the hood and the radiator mount. so i got a little accomplished.
Oh and Sam59 came by and checked out the truck and i got to meet him

I feel your pain kind of......no money here to put into my truck. It's now time to take care of all the little things you said you would do later. Things that don't cost much if any. Hope all works out for you.

Re: project 62

Hate to hear about the job issue. There are rumors floating around where I work too, so I know what you mean. Just remember, "change is coming".

Glad to hear you're still messing with it though.
