I liked 'em better before. It is different though, and you wouldn't ever have to worry about brake dust

Re: New trash truck

I dont like the wheels. Maybe grab a camaro center cap and paint like this? It is a 91-92 chevy camaro wheel w/cap, painted to look like dog dish wheels with hubcap.

Re: New trash truck

Sweet little trash truck But I'm with everyone else on the wheels. Maybe consider painting them a deep metallic red or at least pinstripe the recessed areas in red and the lip....

Well, I would not do this, but I had a 4" block and then took out the long leaf. That took it about 6", I did get 3" lowering leafs and will add a 3" block. I am not a big fan of blocks, but thats what works best on the s10's. Hope that that helps.

Re: New trash truck

on my s15 jimmy, when I bought it when I was 17... It had a 3in and 4in block stacked on top of each other in the rear and the front springs completely removed all together. Just rode on the bump stops on the front and drug the shock mounts on the rear... It was terrible.. I drove it like that for about 6 months because I couldnt afford to fix it before I rasied it back up lol.. Looked cool tho.

Re: New trash truck

Cool Dime. I'm with everyone about the wheels. I believe they offered a bit of nice contrast before they were painted. When I was in high school, everyone wanted or had an S10. Some were lowered right, but most weren't. It does appear that your "trash truck" is starting to suffer from a little "mission creep". Lol!

Re: New trash truck

looks good! Nice advertising! I still think the rims need some color....especially now with the door emblem...maybe just stripe the recessed areas red for some color???

Or...paint the lip and ring the darker red of the emblem and leave the rest as it is?

Or, spray them back with an aluminum color

Re: New trash truck

Nice! How is it that I'm envious of a truck with four cylinders and zero door panels?
