Because John and Amanda are good friends. Amanda hangs out with Johns younger sister. Any guy that wins Amanadas heart will be the luckiest guy around, she's a real sweet heart. Takes after her momma in a big way. But I'm sure she'll break a few hearts along the way

Yeah, they're just friends, she says that going out with him would be like going out with her brother. He doesn't want to go out with her because she's kinda ugly.
