Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

O.K. I appreciate that and know what you mean.

I have an open 3:07 diff I would send you so you could have your rolling chassis without the posi. Just swap the ring gear off your posi and place it on my open diff (I said I need it but that isnt so) and re mount it. Ive done it many times w/o any issues at all.

If so just send me a p.m. and we can work it out.

Thanks,
Tim

That looks about right. The cab is actually visually rust free. I will have to see once I start stripping it. How is the dash, is it AC? If you start cutting the burb up, I think the 2 patch panels I need would end up being pretty small.

Non ac dash. Radio has been cut for the new style radio. It will be easier for me to cut it across the rockers and roof. I can bring it when I come this fall.

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Do you still have the rear hatch latches? I need the two that bolt to the side of the top for the rear hatch to latch to for my 72 Blazer. Thanks for your help.

You saw that, huh?! That was the first thing I pulled off, . I'm not sure if I'm going to use it yet, if I don't I'll let you know. I'm getting ready to start chopping the Burb up in a couple of weeks, so send me your wish list, . Take care.

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Looks like the Burbs rear hatch mechanism is different than the Blazers. I was thinking they were the same. It would look something more like #2, but I can not see it that well. Sorry, maybe I am confused on the interchangability. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you very much for the better picture. I can clearly see these are not the same as the Blazer. Thanks again for your time and help.

No worries. I'm sure someone on the board has what you need.

Passenger side is good. Someone cut a 4" corner off of the drivers side, . The part that is cut off is behind the seat and hard to see. Let me know.

Re: Parting 1971 Suburban (NM)

Would like to get the inner wheel well that bolts to the floor. It can be cut from the outer at the factory seam. I want to use them to mini-tub my 57 short bed.
Thanks,
Johnny
