Re: SO-CAL/I.E. '67-'72 Truck Club?

I'm located in Temecula. Im 20 and work at my step dad's auto parts store and my friends machine shop. Would be cool if we could get an I.E. club going. I know quite a few people into old trucks, muscle cars, and street rods. Anyway here's my fleet.

My first truck: 72 c20 factory air

When it was lowered:

My 69 Nova: 468 BB, TH400, 3.73 Posi

My Dad's 34 Ford Pickup I inherited after he passed away. He bought it back in '69.

My 04 Silverado: 4.3L v-6, 5 speed

Re: SO-CAL/I.E. '67-'72 Truck Club?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm slowly turning the Nova into a hot street car and I plan on using my c20 to tow it to the drag strip. Everything I have I've worked for. I hope to finish my Dad's truck someday but its kinda hard when you have a value menu bank account. Haha.

I hear you there my friend! I have worked my ass off for everything that I have. Paying cash for my first car at 15, and all my other cars I have worked my ass off for. Even down to the house I just bought. Im pretty proud of that accomplishment. I give you kudos my friend

Sweet! I could use some help on R&R'ing my Rockwell transfer case and resealing it, and I could make it to your pad without losing too much oil from the leak! (I live off Winchester Rd. and Murrieta Hot Springs Rd.).

I am teasing, but then I kind of am serious
I really need to get this darn leak fixed, and all the places I have found in our area are either afraid of it or are too expensive.

If anything, I'd be all up for some help at my place.

I'm willing to put my experience with other clubs including working for "The World's Largest Rod & Custom Organization" The Goodguys for 3 years and Sport Truck Magazine both as Editor to put together a decent Newsletter and get some real interest going. I know what it takes to put on events for as many as 10,000 entrants so getting a truck deal going for 50 or 100 people shouldn't be a problem-
I'm ready to get this started! I realize there are probably other clubs, but this will just be another new one.
Jim Aust?? Is that you?
