Seeing the burb pulling the boat out of the water, and knowing that's what god & GM intended for these vehicles, I decided to post mine. It is a DD, so please forgive some imperfections. That old 454 can certainly pull though!

Special-k as for as looks go I like the looks of the 44 boggers myself. But their is no comparison in the ride { on the street} of the Irok's with the bigger rims.

Nice ride MAS! They are towing machines. I like being able to haul a big boat, people and gear to the ramp in full comfort. Your picture reminds me of camping in Illinois as a kid. Dad's first Suburban was a '65 Carryall, and then a mustard yellow and woodgrain '73 3/4 ton with a 454. He hauled a pop-up camper and 8 kids arround with it. The '73 was a great truck to learn to drive in.

Thanks. The picture was actually taken at Clifty Falls in Indiana. I also learned to drive on my Dad's 76 with 454.... Gas mileage certainly hasn't changed! You don't see it very well there, but the wife, 3 kids and dog are loaded & ready to go there.

Re: Here`s mine,let`s see yours

here is my suburban. I picked it up for 2500 a few months back. Just put a new gas tank and sending unit and fuel pump. I also shaved the rear air deflector and drip rail. I also powered coated the bumpers black to match the truck. I have also starting taking all the trim off and getting the sticky crap off and getting rid or emblems.
