I also mocked up the electric fans. It almost looks like they were made for it, and not a nissan.

I bought a 72 Highlander rear seat to narrow 6 maybe 7 inches so I can tub the rear. I also have 72 doors to go on it, so I'm thinking about making it a 72 2wd highlander replica.

I believe an altima, ill have to check the part number to see for sure. A friend of mine worked at nissan and there were three sets of these thrown in dumpster because they had small cracks in the shrouds so he gave me 2 sets. Cant beat them for the price.

Got the hot side built, just have to finish welding it and clean it up. Also got one of the tubs widened and the floor narrowed.

Put the front clip back on and got the hot side fully welded. Also got in the 29x12.5x15 MT's too.

I just have 4 eye bolts with ratchet straps on each corner. Lot easier than trying to lift it alone.

Got one seat done. It isn't perfect but I don't think it is too bad for my first attempt.

Looks pretty good. Since you said it isn't perfect....Leave it out in the sun for a bit the next warm day you get and it'll help it stretch/settle better also....but it looks good in the picture.

Finally made the decision SHE WILL BE DRIVABLE BY SUMMER!!! I just spent $932 for the fuel system minus the injectors and fuel cell. Now I just need to plumb the brakes, build a driveshaft, finish up the turbo plumbing, and rebuild the steering.

Ordered the 35"x12"x4" intercooler and some 80lb injectors. I hope this E85 is worth the extra effort. I figured even if I don't like E85 I ill have a 1000hp fuel system.

Just received the fuel lines. Summit accidentally sent me a paper element filter instead of the stainless one. I called customer service and was told to throw it away, that the correct one was on its way. Do they really think I'm going to throw away a $74 fuel filter? Should have time to work on it Thursday. Hopefully by then the waste gate and blow off valve will be here.

Love the build keep up the good work.. Any advice you could toss my way in lowering one of these?

Guess I should update this. I sold another one of my toys to get money to fund this project. I have also purchased a second 2wd frame to build up and then put my body on. The engine is about to be torn back down for a more turbo friendly cam, patriot gold dual springs and hardened push rods. The steel should be here this week for the tubular crossmembers. I also have new stainless brake lines on the way from inlinetube. After I get everything mocked up ill tear it back down for paint. Hopefully it will be up and running by spring.
