Re: Roll call for the 66's!

My latest project now has 305 with auto. Been parked since 2004. (Barn Find) poured gas in carb and started right up. The last picture is a BBC I have for another project. What you think about putting it in my C10?

I know I'm gonna get banned for this but so be it.

I came on here and tried to help people, give good advice, post pictures of stuff, try and be a productive member, etc. but there's just too many stupid ass people on here that ain't got a fricken clue. Now here I get a dumbass that doesn't even understand a sarcastic joke and when it gets explained to him now he wants to run with it, geeez.

Y'all can have this crap, sorry I even showed up on here.

How am I supposed to read your attitude by what you type? You showed no sighn of joking at first! I had no clue you were joking. There are actually people out there who would make a big fuss over something like this! So, how was I supposed to know what you meant? All I was trying to do was find out what you were getting at. And I wasn't running with your joke I'm just sick of people dog pileing on me! All I tried to do is start a fun thread on 66 TRUCKS.
I expect no reply, cause my case is rested, all I hope is you relize that I didn't understand were you were coming from and I posted that post about giving you a hard time for the same reason you were trying to give me a hard time. To be funny! Sorry if I offended you by posting that. I am not gonna banned someone because of a misunderstanding. As far as I am concerned this is not something worth arguing over so lets rest this and move on in life.

Re: Roll call for the 66's!

Here's where mine sits today. Swapped out the original 283 w/3 spd for aa 427 w/700r4. Disc brakes and roll bars front and back, lowered 2.5/4. We'll have the hood back next week, get the headlights and tail lights wired and we'll be on the road!

Re: Roll call for the 66's!

My 65 has been at the shop for the past month getting an engine rebuild. Rings were shot, valves and valve guides were worn, fuel pump leaking internally, one cracked piston--it was ready for a rebuild. I snapped this pic a month ago, just before it was loaded up to head to the shop for engine work. And it was a clear morning before I got it cranked up. I believe it was burning more oil than gas.

This is where it was the day before, and where it had been for the past year+ waiting for my truck fund to get to the point I could revive it.

Another important 1966 milestone- the LAST YEAR for the 2-Door suburban and panel

Also the first year for the 366 cid Mark IV engine in the big trucks

I understood the sarcasm. And I understood why another misunderstood it.
I myself, have both dished it out and had been misunderstood by it.

Both you guys are great members who add much to these forums.
It's all good. It was a simple misunderstanding. It happens all the time in forums.
