Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Very impressed with your build. I like that you are teaching your son. I am working with my 9 and 6 y/o's to learn what I didn't at that age.... wait a minute, I am still learning! anyway, great job and keep it up!

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
We got the kickpanels in shape today. I had a total rebuild of the drivers side, and a small patch on the lower passenger side. Driver's side in final filler, passenger side in etch primer.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Awesome progress. Keep up the good work. I'm jealous, you are so far ahead of me.. I'm still dealing with rust issues, getting close to having it licked though.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Just found this thread. My Grandpa had a two-tone Dark Olive/White lwb just like this one. Nice to see it get rebuilt instead of going to the scrapyard. You do awesome work!

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Lot's done this past week. Rear frame treated and painted, underbed floor treated and painted, top of bed floor treated and painted, front bed panel painted inside. Inner Bedsides are next and bed wheel wells, then we will assemble the bed and spray bedliner on. (Raptor liner)

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Restoration
Very nice project! And way to go helping your son get a proper education! You wouldn't believe some of the ways I hear instructors are teaching body/collision students lately. It is almost like insurance adjusters are paying the teachers.
