Re: '68 c10 build
I got the tank installed today, as well as the pump and regulator/filter. For the pump, I went with a Walbro (GL392) kit from Speedway. I have this pump on my personal c10 and have been very pleased.

Re: '68 c10 build
My dad also started spraying white on the top of the cab today. This picture is of the first coat over gray DP-190.

Re: '68 c10 build
The top is done! Still needs to be color sanded and buffed, but it turned out really slick. Got the rest of the cab and firewall finished today. Will be spraying the blue tomorrow morning.

Re: '68 c10 build
The blue is going to be pretty. I personally dig the cab and below the molding being white. Either way will look great though! I will be following along.

Re: '68 c10 build
Here's the cab with three coats of base on it. It is being cleared right now.
I also ordered front fenders, inner and outer, yesterday. They shipped today. |

Re: '68 c10 build
Cab is in clear. Picture's do not do it justice! We will color sand and buff the firewall tomorrow and put the cab on the frame. The rest of the cab will get color sanded and buffed next week.

Re: '68 c10 build
Very nice build. In my opinion the boss wheels not working out was a blessing, I see 5 spoke tt style wheels everywhere and the wheels you have are great.
Great work, Rg (a firebird guy)

Thank you, guys. I'm super excited and going to HATE selling this truck when it's all said and done.
