I'd bet money that the auto parts store(s) have the right diameter, though the ends would still have the wire in them, if it's bulk hose. Maybe that would still work, since it doesn't need an airtight seal?

So glad you got it. I had you in mind when I saw it. Try the Corvette supply places for the hose. The early corvettes had that type of hose for the fuelies I believe.
