Nice job on the bed. Are there many 67-72 trucks in as good of shape as yours in Mexico? Looking forward to the all one color( or two colors I guess) pics. I like how you fixed the rusted cross member. Need to do that with my 3/4 tons bed.

Yes....Michoacanos like Chevys 67-72...in all the state there are many nice trucks...and others...to work, in farms... most of them are Americans.

The problem is that here there arent part shops to buy accesories, we have to import it from USA. or restor older parts.

Looks great. I painted a long bed 71 those colors (original to the truck) a few years ago. Not my favorite color but one of my best paint jobs in the end.

I live in Toppenish, Wa where a lot of folks from your area come to work and have met a lot of nice people from that area.

Re: Projecto CHIQUIBABY!!!

Believe it or not, there is a lot of those trucks in any pueblito in Michigan and the reason is some people prefer junking those trucks and buying another.
I went two years ago and I saw tree by Purepero on the side of the road, 1 in Tanaquillo for sure is that one you mention and 2 or 3 in Paracho.
Go Morelia via Cheran-Nahuatzen- Pichataro and you'll be surprised y eso que no vivo en Michigan
