Dude! Just wanted to say "thumbs up"! If you were working on a lawnmower it would be interesting.

I will make/weld-in covers for the upper links. The covers will be about 1.5-2" above the seat pan. I will then adjust the seat springs/wires accordingly. There should still be plenty of cushion room there. The seat back will be mod'ed for the micro-tubs too. When it's all said and done the mods will not be visible and hopefully won't affect passenger comfort. It certainly won't be affecting mine.

Those are leftovers. No project cannibalization here! That's why the LS1 is still sitting in the 61. Believe me the temptation was hard to resist...

What are you planning to paint the D-44 with? I know you are not at that point yet, but I figured you had a plan.

Re: '66 Sunbeam Minx Project - F20C/6sp/4-link/Discs...

Been really busy over the last two weeks with work and school so I've had no shop time. I did manage to get two wheels repaired (had bent lips), and new tires mounted. First pic is the worst of the two wheels. Both are now as good as new. I cannot find any sign of it.
The tires are yoko s-drive 235/40/17 all 4. I'm attaching these since my photobucket bandwidth limit has exceeded for this month (resets on the 21st).

This is the coolest, most original project that I've seen in a long time. It is mind blowing how well thought out and engineered your projects are. 100 points for taking the road less traveled. You are going to love those S-Drives. I just put a set on my Camaro and they are excellent.

Thanks brotha! I'm happy with the way it's headed. I researched tires for this and ended up going with the s-drives based on the countless rave reviews they received. Good to hear another one!

I got a couple things done today. Painted the radiator brackets (I'll show them installed soon). I cut out the PS rear WW for the nano-tub. And, I had to see how those new road grippers looked on there. I still need to clean/polish the wheels...

hey mike,

i found a way around the bandwidth exceed from Photobucket. open another account using a different email address like a yahoo or something. then you can double up the posts and not worry about exceeding your limit. i know your photo archive on Photobucket is HUGE so that might help splitting the difference in 2 places?

if you look at some of the pics i posted they come from 2 different photobucket accounts. i think im gonna post my nova's build up too. that way i can test the limits of the bandwidth too

I've thought about that but a friend of mine offered some server space so if I migrate anything it will be in that direction. Thanks for the suggestion. You know we also have photo hosting here too.

true, but i also post crap on other forums too so i'd rather have all the pics in one place and then i can distribute accordingly. it's free so i figure i tie up space on their free service and keep this board clutter free
