Thanks for the reply Vdog and I am glad there are folks out here that can decypher my typing skills as I read back thru some of them and think wow this guys needs spell check. But you are correct and it is what you have a picture and it shows what I thought it should look like. But my old brake line looks like a line with a t and a L bracket to mount it somewhere. I will now try and hook it up like your picture and forget the line with the t on the end though.

Willie, have you been to that place over in Miami, Ok that has parts for our trucks? I went there a few times years ago. I think he was setting his daughter up to take it over for him. Tom Myers, I think.

Hi Mudder I think I have if it is the same person I am thinking of. Is he the guy the is just kind of south of Miami and has a small salvage yard not very far off Hwy 10. If that is the same guy that is where I bought my clutch brake assembly from as my truck was setup for a auto.

I went through town to get there and at breakfast in Miami at a small place then I thought his place was near an old fair grounds.

If you have Google Earth you follow 10 out of Miami until you hit the crossroads where 59 goes to the right and it looks like it also E110 rd but if you turn back to your left and just up that road is a small old time salvage yard. This is still one of those yards where you can go out and take your own parts off and then come back in and pay for them.

Not sure if this was answered or not but the L angle bracket that holds the brake lines mounts at the top back of the punkin and is held in place with one of the dif cover bolts. I don't have a pic here I can post but can take one if you need it. Hope this helps.

Well that is what I thought it was but if you look at the stainless stell brake line set I got from LMC Truck it has to two brake lines hooking up at the bracket on the axil housing not at the pumpkin. I have a picture of the brake lines earlier in this same thread. Well the difference in the old way and the new way it has to be hooked kind of makes me step back and make sure what I was doing is right. I seems I will have to adjust how several of lines hook up now. I would had thought when I bought the new lines they would be like the old lines but they are not.

Here is that brake junction. I have a coupler and its connected to a rubber hose brake line that connect through the frame to the metal brake line that goes to the front of the truck. Hope this helps.

do you know if anybody is making aftermarket complete cabs ? i have seen 47-49 and 57 cabs but not 67-72 .

I can take a pic of the rear brake junction on mine(67) also if you need, I have heard that the brake lines are slightly different on some models, maybe that would explain your problem there?

Well I would move this thread into the project section if I had a clue as to what I was doing as it is very much a project.Thanks for the pics though as that is what I hope to set my rear brake lines up like now, but I think it was the other way when it came apart, the rear rubber line has the t on one end.

What you cant see is the rubber line is connected to the "T" on the reared and connected to a coupler on the brake line that goes to the master cylider.
I replaced that rubber hose from Classic Industries, and the "T" I got from Napa Auto Parts after matching it up.

Well guys now after almost a year off fixing everyones else's ride I am have got mine back in the shop. Stainless brake lines are ran. Must wait on some warmer days to POR-15 the underside of the cab. I have noticed no matter what aftermarket part I buy to replace or fix something on the truck it has to be modified to make it fit properly. As soon as I get bottom of the cab painted I will be ready to mount it back on the frame and then I will start taking pics of the reassembly. I must buy frontend parts and not surte if I go the local place or get them from place in KC any thoughts on who has better prices or better parts?

I decided that the cab has been on hold long enough so I took wood from my house wood pile which I will never burn up this year anyway and stoked the old wood stove up. Let the shop come up to a good temp and the metal to warm up a bit and then laid a heavy coat of POR-15 to bottom side of the cab. I will keep the stove going for a few hours more to make sure we dry real good. Then this weekend the cab goes back to it's rightful place and that is on the frame.
