The wheels bolted right up on the front. Same bolt pattern. On the back I had to machine a counter bore to clear the axle shaft. Wheels are 20x8 and have a 5 1/2" backspacing. Lets me run the stock rear axle and clear the bed sides at full drop.

Once I get the front clip off the C60 I'll mock it up on my 1/2 ton. I have a 63' grill and would like to keep the lettering above the grill.

Also, pic of the truck at ride height. About 3 1/2" off the ground. Max height should be around 7" to 8" off the ground.

The 63 grill is my favorite grill by far. I have a chrome one for my 66 ready to be installed.

Thanks for the good word guys. Mocked up the front end last night for tire clearance. Not too bad. Will have to trim a little fender for turning.

Made some progress over the weekend. Got my front cab mounts done and the tubing connecting the front and rear of the cab. Enough to remove the temporary frame work and mock up my bench. The headers will have to be modified a bit, but are a good start. Nice day here in SW Missouri so I rolled the truck out for some sun and a chance to clean the shop out.

I was inspired about a week ago looking at everyones progress.. esp yours. I purchased a shed for the back yard 10x12 to put all of the stuff in it and get my garage back so that I can work on my truck again.
Nice work..... can't wait for more pics.

I've been on my neighbor for awhile now. He's got a 56' F@#d 1/2 ton in his shop. I kept telling him my Chevy will be out long before his.. Gets him to work on it once and a while

I originally wanted to keep the truck rough and mostly stock. Then, I started taking it apart and saying I'll do this and this. Before you know it.... I think all my projects end up like this. I just can't leave it well enough alone!!

Can't beat the price of factory take-off 20's!!

Tires are 275/40-20 Michelin Tires off a BMW X5 4.4 Cayenne Turbo HD (another e-gay score) Tires have 60% tread left and got all 4 tires shipped for under $250!

Got them off e-bay for $340 for the set w/o shipping. (shipping was around $100) Guy was switching to chrome versions and was selling the stockers.

Got some buddies over yesterday and moved the bed into the garage. Took all the wood and fenderwells out. Sat it down and
