Great job on the seat and guages!

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Sub sounds good...Its not incredible but its well worth it and has a real nice sound with only 4" of depth on the box...So it fit perfectly behind the seat.
Thanks!

Sanded, Prepped, and painted the other interior trim...Only thing left to paint is the actual shoulder seat belt piece on the floor that wont come out

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
It looks to me like that spot of red you're seeing is just the reflection of red paint on the gloss black.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Well i wanted to do four patches today...Both fenders and the cab corners....I failed......My flange and punch tool died and i only completed the one fender which was paint cuz i couldnt fully flange or punch it...So i used pliers and made do......Spot welding didnt happen much but with some grinding and finding bondo i got it done....So now it just needs some bondo to smooth it out and fix a few lil holes/gaps
SAFETY FIRST!! LOL

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
Your right..It was just a reflection..I put most of the trim back in last night other then the dashpad and door panels....The headliner actually doesnt look awful once installed. So far so good....

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
They are hooked up and sound amazing! Only prob is it does get in the way of the e brake.....But that also could be because mine are bowed out ever so slightly on the bottom due to some welds

Re: Project 78 High Sierra
After soap and water, drying, and hitting it will alcohol I hit it with 4 coats of Eastwood Self Etching black primer......Has a few spots Ill need to hit with a small bit of bondo and then i can get a lil sanding in before I hit it will some more sandable primer....
Notice all the paint dust on my house? This thing had 2 - 3 different coats of paint on it...sheesh.....The under side will just be rust repair and nothing special
