Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

That looks great!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if it's the fact that you have great weather that allows you to work all year long or the fact that you have such a choice of vintage iron to play with....

I am convinced that I need to move...... it was 15 deg here today. I want to pull out my Burb and play too.....

Can't wait to see it completed.... you keeping this one? Or is this just a money maker? Just wondering... it's a great looking rig....

Regards!

Dino you need to stop and leave a few for other members to buy and build! What is the SQ footage of your lot? Looks like you have it laid out very well.

kevin i saw on here some photos of your house and what you did, very nice.I live in the old part of central phoenix and my house was built in 1946.The sq foot was 800(wow) but i did the same as you a total remodel, pulled the roof, plumbing, wiring , completed all while living in it. i have a huge lot . the house is now 1200(still tiny) but i built a big shop.A guy gave me the trusses for it all i had to do is tear down the building and haul them home from prescott(150 mile away) on a thursday i dug the footer and hauled all the block ,and built it in 5 days and moved in, almost all the time a have about12-14 cars and trucks here.and its a fine art to make them fit

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

Dino,

The burb is lookin good! I was almost certain that it was going to end up on the C4 chassis though. I amagined it layin frame on some big rollers, but I also amagined it rained money from the Arizona skys I really wished you would have keeped the graphics. j/k. Well I bought some conversion axles and a Kp notch for my truck, just need some time to install them now. I was going to ask about the ride on the 78 but I didnt think it was drivable yet. So the Kp 6-link is definetly worth the extra pennys? Because i'm still saving mine to get one for my 64! Keep building that varity of custom rides cause i'm loving them. Later

Looks like someone did a 1/2 way decent job on that crossmember. It's no dropmember but not bad. I love the V6 emblems. What's going in it for motivation?
