Beautiful Longhorn Ken, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of it before, thanks for sharing. Good to see it still gets some work done too!

I remember that truck on eBay and Craigslist. Has factory cruise control but not working and the clock in the middle of the glove box gives it away.

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

My 1972 Sierra Grande I have owned since 1981. It has 385,000 miles original engine except for heads redone. Oil never been off and runs like a charm. I t had 72,00 when I bought it and anything that has ever been done to it I did myself so all the history about I know of. The original paint is getting mighty thin but I want to keep it original as long as possible.

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

1971 C20 Longhorn, Custom Camper, 69K, it was my dads. From the period but not factory are the camper hold-down plates. Working on getting an original antennae. The pic shows factory original, however, the engine and upholstery have been replaced. If anyone has an original dark olive gas cap, I'm in the market. Thanks.

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

Posted my 70 GMC in a couple other places and just picked up the 70 Chev on 02Jan. Both are unmolested original paint (90%) trucks although the GMC is probably more time capsule "worthy" than the Chev.

I'm w/the purists on the board, I'll take an original paint truck all day long over any restored/lowered/modified/20 inch wheels...and of course, preference is for always for LWBs.
