Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks

Kinda looka like body work, like a pannel was added in? Is the wheel opening dropped, compare it to the stepside above, pretty sure it's been dropped, or the whole fender made taller also, or does it just look that way cause of the strip?

Would it be heavy if it had an 8ft bed or too hard to control. I don't think I would do that to mine if I had it restored, just to put it on the dragstrip and total it. Either way they are nice and very loud.

He is also building an Altered t-body car. I'd be guessing but I'd say they'll be going for sub 7sec passes in it.

Chris Caulkin is co-owner of the truck. I understand he is a pretty well known chassis guy.

Re: Post pics of truck drag racing or racing trucks

just want to know if anyone offers some nice fiberglass fenders for a 67 . I dont want the whole entire hood grill ,fenderswith the flip up kit. I want to get weight off looking for a stock replacement fender. Has anyone dealt with US body source? Are the hoods any good?
Thanks
Mark

The best one I have of mine. I finally got it on the track. Ran a 13.40 but I forgot to check the throttle adjustment until I got home, I was at less than 3/4 throttle. I'm ready to go again come spring.

That looks great! That looks like the Woodburn strip, what race was that? Your truck looks sweet, and that motor is awesome.

Sweet truck! It looks like you got lots of cheese in the small block. What does it run? Come join the rest of the gear heads in the racing section more often.
