anyone know any details about this truck. year, and model? was it orginally a 2500 / 3/4 ton 2wd and made into a 1500 / 1/2 ton by change of spindles and axles? reason i am asking is i have been searching on ebay, autotrader, hemmings, etc. for a similiar truck to start a daily driver build. i would like a crew cab but don't want 8 lug bolt pattern for wheel selection. any insight would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I used all the dodge stuff. crossmember and all. scraped out that poor dodge but it worth it to have a cummins powered chev. : )

Question Are there extended cabs, too?

Hi,,

I'm currently looking for a 1 ton long bed truck and found the military D 30.
However, all of these have a single cab only.
Have there extended cabs been around?

Thanks

The CUCV(Military) truck are only regular cab or blazer. Check out http://www.steelsoldiers.com/ great site for info on CUCV's.

90% rust free sounds much better than saying 10% rusted.

That is a nice look with all black except the chrome on the hubcaps, rain gutters and bumper.
