I like that interior. I wish there was a better picture of it.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

There are 3 or 4 K5's in our local Trade Express right now, all 4WD, from $2000-$15,000.
It's the Central Coast of California edition. You can look at them online.

That one is sweet for sure. Close to me too. This summer I'm going to look into coordinating with other socal people and will try to get a few 2wd blazers together for a meet. I think that would be something to get 5-10 2wd in one place.

Looks nice and someones put some work into it. The door handles, mirrors and rear marker lights have been shaved and I see a tailgate handle relocation kit. Does it look like the door glass channel was capped over?

Did you talk to him?

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Yup - sent him an email just after he posted it on ebay...

He needs it gone so he said to make an offer - I asked if he had the top and if it needed any work to be a driver...

He replied and said it needs insurance and a driver to be a daily...(summation of the email msg)

Don't know about the top though - he never answered that...and he didn't like my offer since he never responded back about that either...

Looks pretty solid - curious to know what his reserve is...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Well i went to go see it and the guy was pretty cool. he owned it for a long time and the whole floor of the blazer was rhino lined. the body was decent but the killer for me was the passenger lower windshield pillar had a hole in it about the size of a golf ball. anyone ever had this piece repaired and any ideas of how much it might cost at a decent body shop?

I think this is the one that used to have purple flames on the front. It's been for sale for a long time. I'm guessing the owner thought it wasn't selling because of the purple flames so he painted over them. They are still on the inner fenders and the dash. Not a bad deal if you can see past the remaining purple.

Do you mean this one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWDVW

Repairing the windshield frame is a major project. If you can't do it yourself, it won't be worth it to buy the truck. You'd be better off finding a solid truck than paying for serious body work...

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

- there was one on ebay a little bit ago AND it was a good price - just totally rusted out - so triple or quadruple the price to finish up (or find a solid tub and do a transplant...)

I love that white one. It looks clean in the pics. I don't think I read about anyone going to see it though. If I had the means, I'd be looking really hard at that one.

Since you're going to LA, you should look at this one -
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/car/609656135.html

Not in LA, but this one is nice too - http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/car/580083762.html

This one looks good - http://fresno.craigslist.org/car/590631812.html

I think you should also ad this one into your trip just so you can smack the guy for what he did to this poor truck.
