Re: Project High Life Light.

Got more done today. The cab is a P.O.S. I got a lot of work ahead of me. The motor is nasty. But I'll let the machine shop deal with that beast. They can clean it up. The 64 bed is just sittin there. I'm going to cut out the bottom of the 84 bed and weld it to the 64 bed befor I line it all up and mount it.

Re: Project High Life Light.

Hey Jason get me a job working with you. And I'll bring my truck up there and help you out in the shop. Oh and I'll bring my welder too. Or you can just adopt me. I know your not a OU fan so that will work with me cuz I'm wearing a UT shirt right now.

I mesed with the motor today. The dizzy is mising some parts, dizzy wireing is hacked, 2 bolts holding the carb on, leaking intake gasket, crap under the valve cover, foul plug in the #1 hole. How nice.

Pulled the driver's rocker off. This thing is junk. But I'm going to save it anyway. Smothed out the drip rail a little bit to.

Re: Project High Life Light.

Always there with a kind word. Thanks David. I was thinking about cutting the floor out of the 84 and putting it into the 64. It would be a free floor. I would just have to replace the rockers, corners with 64 stuff. I wonder if it would fit.

Check this out, it shows that just about anything is possible with a welder and some fab time. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=262874

I don't know? It seems like more work than it's worth. I rather just replace the floor.
