Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
Well made some progress last night and today. Got the frame gussets welded last night, and today i got the motor in place. Had to make the motor mount tabs and the tranny crossmember. Also picked up a new rearend housing for it since the old one is to wide.
Heres the pictures... Gussets welded (Lots of welding)... Tranny crossmember i fab'd up... Motor mount tabs.... Motor in place... New rearend housing, still needs cleaned up (about 4" narrower then the other one)... What do you think? Justin

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
Work on the frame a little last weekend and some this weekend, got the driveline hoop crossmember made and installed, still needs some kind of gusset. Also got the upper wishbone installed, front tabs on the wishbone still need gussets. I got the body mounts tacked into place also (frames going to be sandblasted so i didnt worry about cleaning them up).
Heres the Pictures... What do you think? Justin

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
Well got the the tranny mount made. Got the fuel cell and tranny cooler mounted. Capped the rear of the frame and finnished th front running board mount. Got the rear airbag placement and templates made, got the tank and compressor mounting figured out also. I also pulled the trigger and ordered the Accuair E-level controller cant wait tell that comes in.
Anyways heres the pictures.... Tranny mount... Fuel cell... Tranny cooler... Rear frame capped... Running board mount... Justin

Re: [PROJECT] Laidout53 Part II
Well Got the running Board mounted, had to modify the drivers front mount so it wouldnt hit the ground. Also started on the center section of the frame, so i will have to make a trans mount. need to get some more 2"x4" to do the otherside of the center section.
Heres the Pictures.... Modifing the mount... done.... Center section.... Justin
