Re: I needed another truck like I need a hole in my head - yet here we are!

Very Nice!!!
What modifications did you make to the suspension to lower it???
Your firstl owering was good, for me... second is as low as I prefer...just my preference. Great job of saving this one. Man I'm glad you have a friend you were ale to bless by allowing him to do all that sheet metal work!!! I hope the friend goes back to work soon...although if he doesn't maybe you need to find another pickup in need of metal work, while he's available...LOL

FYI, If you have not installed new "underneath" plug wires yet. Stock wire sets for 75-79 Corvettes are made to go under. THey had HEI's AND the rams horn exhaust manifolds. I did this on my 67 Bel Air. It cam with rams horn manifolds..

It’s just got springs to lower it now, but I want to do spindles in front and go down a little bit more. It just bottomed out on big bumps, so we did the c-notch since we were already there. I want a good balance between a good stance and good driveability.

Thanks for the tip on the wires. I haven’t touched the engine yet, but I’m planning on cleaning up everything under the hood and on the interior.

Here's one I like, even though it's lower than my normal standard. Had for a screen saver. Folks walking by my computer all made positive comments about it, even a young gal, that I thought was clueless about almost everything!!!

Thanks! It’s come a ways since my buddy picked it up off the farm. I dug up this pic I snapped the night he went and got it.
