Re: Okay......sometimes other people find them for me, 71' SWB

Okay now back to the work, later today I'm going to pick up a painted rear bumper, and tomorrow or Friday I'll take it over to my body guy and see if he can "hammer & dolly" out the few small dents and adjust the hood, once he's done I should be able replace the grill with a new inter grill and.....hopefully if everything goes as planed by this weekend I will give it a good bath and I'll be cruisin in style, yes! But of course you know I'm very tempted to order a 3/5 lowering kit from CPP, actually I need 2, one for this one and one for the blue 72', the other new truck that you guys thought I forgot about.

By the time those 2 or 3 kits get here you better order 2 more cause I'm sure you'll have some new ones ready and waiting.

You know I really can't narrow it down to just one, there's has been a few that I've sold that I really miss (a lot), the slant noses have really grown on me, I almost parted with "Gumby" last year ( I guess I can let the cat out of the bag now) but I didn't, thank God, I think I'm really more of a "Cheyenne Super" guy, On a different note I would love to own a nice "stocker" 64, 5 or 6 big window short fleet like the one I sold Del, I should have listened to Dino when he said I was lucky to have found it (The Grey Goose) because I can't find another one.

Don't say that cause there is a 63-66 original brown short fleet big window running around Lodi. I'll catch him one of these days and get his number or hand him your card. Hey you never know he may even like "Broke Back Mountain Men" too

How many trucks do you have?? That's a question I used to get asked a lot. I'd squint one eye shut, look up,and use my fingers to count them off in my mind. I had them in 4 counties stashed at my house,my shop,my folks',and couple friends' places. But mostly I just wasn't counting and really didn't know. Now,all I have are...ummm...let me get back to you on that

What! No suggesting names????

Hey Rene, werent plates blue and yellow in '71? I like those blue and yellow ones on the early 70 models....But I get it you want to look 60's?

Actually those plates look perfect. I had some done for the 66 Chevelle by a guy named Darryl; He took 11 months but they came out perfecto...front and back. Actually look like jewelry...make the black Chevelle look bad!

Look closely and you'll see Rene did something different with those plates. Plus the turn around time for his plates is mere days
