Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
Today i did a few small things. I installed the marker lights, door handles/latches, hood/door/tailgate bumpers and started on the grille trim. Going to start running some wiring tomorrow.

Thanks. Havent got a whole lot done to the truck but i did order my AAW wiring harness, dakota digital instrument panel and a few other small things. I am trying to decide which radiator to order the griffin, entropy or one from RnD fabricators. If you all could give me your recomendation. My dad and i are going to work on the motor wiring tomorrow. Ill post some more pics soon.

Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
I got a little accomplished today. Installed the front bumper, grille trim and front turn signal lights. I also got the harness adapters for the fuel injectors in the mail the other day. So i was able to start running my motor harness.

Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
Making some progress. I got the sound deadener installed, most of the glass, parking brake, brake assembly and the griffin ls radiator. I had to do quite a bit of trimming on my radiator support to get the radiator to sit low enough for the hold downs to work but it turned out pretty good.

Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
The truck looks amazing man. 4 years to get it done? That seems insane to me. I would have been up there every day.

Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
Thanks. It was two body shops and four years but the second one had it for three of the four. Insane no doubt but they would do just enough to keep me hanging in there hoping they were going to get it finished. One thing i will pass on when getting a job done is to get some form of a contract on a price and completion date.

Re: Grandpas 71 GMC
I would have expected them to knock some off the price......like a hundred or so for each year!
