Thanks for the info Fizz, I was going down this same path a few years ago, but my job/house/kids took over, now maybe this year I will be back at it...

They look like they fit real well. Do you have any pics with the exhaust pipes hooked up to the collectors?

Hey Fizz, its been a short time since you installed the patriots, Are you still happy with them? How is the coating looking? Overall they look like a good purchase and look good installed. thanks for the info.

Just saw this... Haven't driven it much so they look brand new!

I have Hooker Super Comp headers on my truck. The only time I had an issue was with my driveway breakover angle. My truck had 3" lowered springs and Belltech 3" lowered spindles in it at the time. I put stock springs in and the issue went away.

As for the pipes, I have 3" pipe all the way back. The trick for me was to cut two clearance holes in the center crossmember for the pipes to pass thru. This kept everything above, or only slightly lower than the frams surface.

do you have any other pics of underneath your truck. and will all chevelle headers work by hooker?

Them where for a chevelle and came from summit, minor trimming on pass side frame rail.

95% sure they where patriots.

I just received a new set of the Patriot Clippster Headers (p/n 8013H) and found the driver's side 3/8" flange badly warped. Back to Summit racing they go. Has anyone tried the headman headers elite p/n 68618?

Hooker super comps, 2 primary tubes, 3 1/2 inch collectors and 3 inch exhaust tubes all the way back. lowering spring in the front and removed rear springs and shocks and used a coil over street rod kit in the rear. clears my steep driveway..

Hello Clayton, Yes we still make the headers. The flanges are 3/8 and they come slip fit collector. Brake lines that run on the inside of the frame will have to be modified or converted to outside framerail lines. Thanks Steve

Slip fit? Do they have a big clamp that holds the pipe on. The problem we have in AZ is the heat that is generated under the truck and if you lower the truck. The heat doesn't escape and you have problems with cooling. Crap i have some decisions to make, lol its always something. Do you have a phone number? How would you get paid?
