This setup wont be any harder than the original setup. This just changes the lift ratio.

Re: custom backhalf C4 IRS and Front suspension

As to any issues with balljoints, there shouldnt be any as all this does is give the front end more lift. The angles have remained the same in regards to the ball joints. I still have to box the front frame rails and there will be a cross piece going from shock/bag tower hoop to the oposite side that will be removeable for future needs to pull the big block.

To me it all looks good except the bar that the shockwave attaches too.. I see there is a killer tube front crossmember built and a killer rear frame section but that hoop just looks plain? I dont know how you would really dress it up but compared to the rest of the work is just looks like it was tossed on there? just my opnion though

Its far from finished. There's still way more fab needed to be completed. That's why it looks plain and just thrown on there. This is just R&D. As for the offroad suspension thats funny. Right now it does but when its finished it will speak for itself. Funny if you look at front strut race chassis their suspension has funny offroad hoops also.

Im confused. Are you and junior the same person, or are you his press guy? If you are the same person, how do you weld straight with eyes like that? I would like to see this thing in person when the frame is finished. Looks bad ass, keep up the good work.

Re: custom backhalf C4 IRS and Front suspension

You can check it out just about any day you want to! If you know where the bait barn is in Waterford, the shop is right next to it, and this truck is right in there. Jr is just getting his shop off the ground in that location. Hopefully it will be up and officially running within the week. Jr, is my brother from another mother. My name is Bill...I like to think I push his @$$ in the right direction, but he does all the fabrication and welding and what not. My avatar is a pic of Jr from a LONG time ago...and yes, his eyes do look all tore up. This truck actually belongs to BO*FUS, or Josh...it is a family truck that has obviously undergone some serious changes. This is actually my account...Jr's account was under ValleyCustoms, but he forgot his password and the old email is no longer around.... too many fumes from welding I guess! So he sends me the pics and I post them for him. He signs on and updates posts here.....now you know!

you got to be kidding me, go 1 mile east from the bait barn on Yosemite and thats where my truck is. You guys around on the weekends? My cab and bed are at my folks house in Waterford and my chassis is here in Sonora. I'm right across the street from where Big Bear Park used to be.

You know Waterford is the land of golden riches..... flies, fleas, portagees and oaky sons a *****es. At least that's what my pops tells me.

Yeah..good old Waterhole... land of dog ****ers!!! LOL!! There is a shop next to the bait barn and across from the taqueria... That is where Jr does his dirty work... sometimes you can see a 54 chopped top chevy with a red roof sitting next to the chain link fence on the inside. Jr is redoing a 4 link rear end on that one... I dont think he will be there this Saturday as he is busy with baby sitting duties that day! Maybe Sunday, but he will chime in here later for sure with his own schedule and what not.

The front suspension is still a work in progress...and I am posting all the pics that he sends from his phone to my email. So far, what you see is what you get...He still has some bracing/boxing/welding to do, so stay tuned. If you want any up close or different angle pics, just let me know and we can get them on here for you. Or drive an hour and 10 mins and see it for yourself

Saying goodbye to pieces of the firewall....we will see how much more it changes as we go...

There is going to be a removeable support from hoop to hoop going over the front of the motor....again, this is just R&D....
