I used Headman shorty I bought the magnaflow x pipes exhaust and used their generic mandrel pipe for the head pipe . Worked perfectly with minor cutting of the head pipe . Used butt band clamps to hold it together I may weld it at some time but it’s been two months and 4000 miles with no problems

I have Heddman headers, but I had the muffler shop weld on a crossover [H-Pipe] just behind the Transfer Case. For a K/5 Chassis. For a C/10, yours won't have to be so far back.

A friend of mine had a new motor to install in his C10.
Three of us went to work early so we could get off early.
Changed the motor that night and he drove it to work the next day.
We had to fix some wiring issues at the same time.
We replaced some solid copper wire with the correct stranded.

I like it when a plan comes together.
