My truck had tons of grease, which i loved cause all the bolts were lubed up. I only broke three bolts taking apart this whole truck. Pretty good i think.

Let things are finally headed in the right direction ---> I got some help this weekend and assembled the wood floor. Out of three people none of us used any of that helpful swearing ! It fit like a glove !

My plan is to paint the wood floor the same color as the truck like it did from the factory. Hopefully someone on here will agree with me. I have so many people at home saying that I'll be kicking my self if I do, but I'm going for original.

If you do paint it and kick yourself, you could always strip it. Plus the paint will act a little like a thin bed liner so the wood won't get as banged up... yea, right!

I believe the original wood was black not painted to match until late 70's early 80's ?? I could be wrong, that being said...I think It looks much better like it is .
