These are on my '78 GMC fishing truck, wood bed floor! Anyway they are 15x8.5 up front & 15x10's out back. The centers are chrome silver caliper paint w/etching primer base.

Re: GRIZZ’s ‘79 - 2WD BLAZER Challenge over in London, England. “~It’s not a Project
And so 2019 broke on us.
Perfect day, sunshine, chilly, DRY....!! Slow start indoors culminated in cutting the grass, as it was really scruffy, but had the mower set quite high as the lawn is waterlogged, or at least very soft n soggy, but happy it’s done. Then chatted with various friends around the world, from Stas in Siberia to Ray in Iowa and of course Dennis in Missouri and my brother in South Africa. Followed by Truck Time. What better way is there to starting the year. This Blazer that certainly still is “Not a Project” was going to get some attention. And both were small jobs that in my opinion have delivered and then some. It really has wrapped up the last three months worth of Ups n Downs, and you all know where we started. I certainly have done more and spent more than intended. But it’s come together really well. First job, take a starting point photo. Then remove the aluminium grille that will go into the for sale pile. Reassemble Compared to the starting point. And then the Money Shot. Harley had been there all day, helping. She is a funny cat...... Once I reversed the truck back from the lawn to start on the second job, which would be the steering wheel replacement, I went to the house to grab a coffee. When I got back, this was what I found. Catscan Approved More in a while.

Quick overnight update from Dennis and the gas station replica and storage space for collected treasures that he is building.
I guess they are never truely done. He is busy painting and staining the last few interior boards and trim, but has started to mount some of his treasures collected over time. Concrete island and drive still to come for the restored gas pumps and other equipment like tyre changers he grew up with, all restored and painted correctly. Looking forward to when the air is plumbed in and the driveway bell and tyre pump both work as well. In the mean time he is also helping Adam and Hanna build the house and shop on their property next door. So not a lot of free time. Have a good week.

Some Cleaning, little paint and some stickers for the middle, you'll be good!

Very rough week at work.
But therapy was at hand when I got in. Small job, cleaning up the horn push. Looks better now. Just need to figure what to do about the cracked front. Prozac into action in the morning. Off to Romford to see mate Steve, and collect this lot of fire wood, kindling.

Re: GRIZZ’s ‘79 - 2WD BLAZER Challenge over in London, England. “~It’s not a Project
Up early, then headed out to Romford in Essex in Prozac.
Was headed to see SawdustSteve and wife Jenny to visit, see their cats, chickens and a new Spanish refugee.... Oh and I got to pick up a full load of cut pallets from Steve for my fire place. More importantly it was great seeing good people again. Refugee. Looks a lot less than it is, and the rear sunk a bit..... No action photos. The van that can. At about 11.15 I left Steve’s place and headed over to Henry’s place 15 minutes away. Of course usually it is him visiting me and doing wiring etc. Today it was my turn, no work done, just got to play with his best mate, a Siamese cat and try take in everything in his garage and shop. He has bought himself a Project, and his wife loves it, NOT 😁 1990 Porsche 944 S 2 A former Press Car. Bought running and on the road, it did not take Henry long to start fixing and upgrading, a lot. But of course if you see things like the Oil cooler...... And some of the muck that came out of the feeding duct, you will understand why he went down the slippery route of getting things right. So soon it was Hubs, brakes, suspension, brake lines.... Calipers Before.... After. Upgraded, rebuilt shocks. Everything has been, and continues to be touched with Henry’s magic wand where perfection is the only way. It did not take long to go past 2.00pm with us talking shop, cars, bikes, vintage bench vices and everything inbetween. So I needed to get home to work on the Blazer too, before dark, so coffee, biccies etc and then eventually homeward. Another great day.

Re: GRIZZ’s ‘79 - 2WD BLAZER Challenge over in London, England. “~It’s not a Project
Sometimes things really do pee me off.
So I ordered a 1/2 inch spacer to get the air cleaner raised and fitted to the Holley carb in the Blazer. Ermmmm, Nope. Too tight, just no way of fitting it. Call in the side cutters, and duct tape. After correcting it, the gap was about 2mm and I placed it where there was a metal wall. Done. I will apologise in advance, but yesterday Harley was on one of her missions, holding tools, inspecting, approving and generally being an absolute pain in the butt. Certainly had the wind up her tail. Kept on walking about the engine bay, despite me putting her on the ground repeatedly. It was cold, and the wet and chill combined made me realise she is just mad for being out there. Typically she to try out the perch. Settling on the edge while I fitted the PCV valve to the truck as well. So needed the latest bit of action on the Blazer.

Boy Rian, does that 944 bring back memories, I had a white 87. Drove like it was on rails,I loved that car. Very expensive to have worked on if you didn't have the special tools it takes.

Thank you Bill,
Prozac seems to be worth a lot more than into weight in road taxes. V20 Twin Turbos, they work at 1500rpm. Some days my job does not suck. This was Thursday.

Sunday....
Fog, really thick fog, even at 11.00 it was still thick. Started the Blazer up optimistically this morning, I continue to be amazed at just how willing and easy this truck is. All the electrical seem to be back on track. Washed it out front. So it cleared up by 13.00 and I got going and headed down to town with a silly grin on OMG face. Parked up and headed into Rochester. Nothing like the smell of Castrol 2 Stroke smoke. Lambretta blatting around. Rochester Cathedral. Front doors. Detail.
