I am a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME -> Timmy) for Mentor Graphics. We make software for Electrical Engineers and I help those EEs get our software to work. Sometimes I even help them on their designs. I spend most of my time at Intel working with their networking division on new products. I have a BSEE myself and I'm working part time on my MSEE.

I'm currently a senior draftsmen/designer for a custom cabinetry / millworks shop designing and drawing all the millwork. Previous: draftsmen for Howmet Castings - Winsted Machining Division drafting up all the work instructions, blueprints, designing tools and operation processes. Before Howmet worked for and studied under an architect. Currently I am also a freelance draftsmen and will shortly be a sub-contract draftsmen designing & drafting machine and architectural projects.

I work at a plastic parts plant. We make lighting products (head lights, tail lights and signal lamps), air cleaner boxes and carbon canisters for all kinds of Ford products.
The line I work on makes the park/turn light for the F-150.

Another Boeing A/C employee here but this time in the flatlands of Kansas. Work Flight Line Transportation at Wichita Division. Run lift trucks from 4,000 up to an 80,000 monster affectionatly known as "Tonka", mobile cranes from 12 ton up to 45 ton, A/C tugs for moving KC-135 tankers, 737, 747, 757,767, DC-10, B-52, Air Force One (aka "Big Bird") E-4B (747 ) E-6 Navy (707), etc in and out of the hangers and on ramp positions. Service gaseous and Liquid Oxygen to aircraft. Currently pretty hot job (temp wise, no shade trees on the flight line ! ) 29 + years in and 5 1/2 to go.

Quite a few engineers on here. I'm going to be a freshman at the University of Missouri-Rolla this fall, and my major is Mechanical Engineering. I hope i don't flunk out the first semester so i can graduate and get a good job

Right now i work for the Missouri Department of Conservation, and i place, check, and remove gypsy moth traps. I put up a little over 400 of them this year. For those of you west of the Mississipi that don't know what a gypsy moth is, they are a species of moth introduced into the US back in the 19th centruy. The moth catepilliars are devastating to hardwood trees, and after several years of infestation, the trees will die. I hang the traps to try and find any moths that have made it to Missouri.

I have also done the usual high school jobs, grocery store, retail store, ect. I also work on some weekends for a small trucking company, unloading and loading trailers, cleaning trailers, and other manual labor tasks

after highschool i took a 1 year welding course, got my ticket and since then ive been working in a fabrication shop ( kelownaironworks.com ) we make fancy wrought iron gates and railings mainly, but do all kinds of work with aluminum too....pretty much any kind of metal...its great experience for me cause i jsut went to school to weld but im getting tons of fab and fitting experience, maybe one day i can make custom hot rod frames and stuff like that, but until then i do what im told and love it

I am an analyst for the City of San Diego, Building Dept (we issue the permits). I do special projects, keep management inline, and do the revenue and expense statement. It pays the bill, just barely.

I hope to find someone to go into business with. I really want my own company but I am not good at finishing thing, just really good at starting them.

Self employed Contractor, ceramic tile and marble installed the ORIGINAL way, wet bed mud jobs! i.e. I'm more like a mason. Never work in the same place all the time, thus had an easy time finding about 40 or so parts trucks. Actually get to use my 72 K25 as my sand truck. That's what these trucks are for, to use! The K10 is the pleasure truck, building another 72 K25 402 Auto as the next heavy hauler, drive an '01 GMC c3500 as the regular truck. Know enough about mechanics to be dangerous, hopefully not too dangerous!
