ME, nice work. That's an interesting build you have going. Where are you located in L'ville? I'm in L'ville too and would love to drop by your place and see what you are doing first hand.

Re: my chevy, gmc, chevy, dodge build
I've been slackin on the pics lately, so here you go. I put the other window in, built a small frame for some of the bed floor, modified a old driveshaft to fit, made a firewall/ trans tunnel out of 1/8 diamond plate just in case of a catastrophic failure I would like to keep my feet, and it can also be removed.

nice , I will be watching.
I love turbo Diesels....nothing like a ton of torque to sit ya back in your seat...and still get killer MPGs also! |

This is true. My DD 4x4 3500 cummins weighs 7400lbs dynoed 405hp 932tq (before the twins) and I can get 22mpg on the highway if I dont beat on it. Not bad. |

Re: my chevy, gmc, chevy, dodge build
I have finished a lot of stuff: rear trackbar, radiator and support, put seats in it, finished most of the floor, steering is done, front brakes and many other things to get it road worthy.
I have put about 50 miles on the truck so far and have a few more things to do. I need to change the gears in the rear and make the valvebody full manual also install some rear brakes. I plan on driving it for a while with the body like it is and doing the paint, and other cosmetics later. |

Does that black Dodge in the background have twin stacks in the bed? If so, I think it drove right past my house a couple of days ago. Last edited by Russell Ashley; 07-04-2011 at 11:51 AM. Reason: add comment. |
