One thing I've learned in 63 years, is that there is always room for improvement. If I improve everyone elses chances when they drive in snow, by my staying at home...you're welcome.

My 71 GMC 3/4 ton and my 71 Suburban were the WORST snow vehicles I've ever driven, nothing could be done to help, even chains! I soon learned to leave them at home and use whichever front wheel drive my girlfriend happened to drive at the time.
Best snow vehicles I've owned... #1 99 dodge durango, plowed through waist deep, over the hood snow #2 09 Toyota Tacoma TRD, faired pretty well last year and this but I needed chains. #3 early eighties subaru hatch back 4X4, outstanding but embarassing I had a laugh at the NYC drivers this Xmas snowstorm, then I tried walking in that greasy stuff and I was glad I didn't have to drive in it. Totally different snow back east I guess.
