if you can get a pic, what ones are welded to the core support? never changed grilles on one of these before.

There is supports half way between the center and the ends that take grill screws. I will get pics Wed. Thanks, Ray

They are specific to 73/74 and welded in. 75-80 are different shape, and bolted in. You don't need the early welded in mids to retrofit the older grill to your newer truck. Just get the outers and center assembly...you will be set. Simply unbolt your center, and mid/end channels from your core support, and bolt the 73/74 parts in and go.

Hey Ray - received The switch today..Thank you very much!!..Quick question..Do ya think I could buy the plug that goes into the switch from ya?..And mebbe about 3 or 4 inches of wire left on it so I know what wires go where? Lemme know..And thanx again..CJ

CJ, The plug went with the cab, but I might have one from a 76 that will work. I will check. Thanks, Ray

just about to bump ya on them lol. Consider them sold.

Dont happen to have the intermediate E brake cable do you? the long U one, the one on dads 73 snapped and he needs one, hes gonna check oriley but who knows if they have the right one or not.

Only shortbed stuff we got is 55-62 lol, so ya his 73s a longbed. Ill try to get a measurement of it tommorow, or have him do it.

Do you have the rear spring plates (they could be off of any heavier truck with the bigger axles..)? The ones that go above the springs that the U-bolts bolt to.. about 3.5" from inside to inside (NOT center to center of holes) thanks

The only set of side mirrors I have is a set of sport mirrors that came off a 77. Somewhere I have a thread with those for sale and I will double check the barn to make sure they are still there if you are interested.
