Also picked up my new rear seat this morning, 3rd row tahoe seat in black leather to match the fronts!! Got the inside of the roof sprayed as well, interior is going 2 toned in chocolate brown with black carpet and seats

Re: My first blazer!!
crazy to think if you combine the ls in the blazer and the lt in my c10 the horsepower would be pretty close to what the Hellcat is bringing to the table!

Builds like this remind me of the Johnny be Good lyric "playing the guitar like he was ringing a bell".

Re: My first blazer!!
How much Drop do you have. I'm trying to decide if I'm going with 2/5 or 5/7. Also what size are your wheels. Thanks in advance.

Re: My first blazer!!
not positive on the drop as it was already done when i bought it. Its got spindles and maybe springs in the front and a flip kit in the rear. Wheels are 22x8 and 22x9.5

Re: My first blazer!!
i stripped the chrome after narrowing them and shaving the bolts, Then a metal etch primer. Finally painted them base/clear in what our wheel shop calls hyper silver.

Re: My first blazer!!
the fronts i had to build a bracket to hold them in place on the tunnel side of the seat. the outer i used the factory hole in the front and drilled a new hole in the rear. For the rear seats I used 1/2" u bolts through the floor so they operate like they did from the tahoe. You can pull the levers to pivot them and remove them like the factory did. Just make sure you reinforce the area with a large thick washer etc. as the seat belts attach directly to the seats
