You are absolutely right, but you gotta do what you gotta when money is tight and times are hard... I just got a few new bits last night and I might be able to do some nice finishing on these pieces after all is said and done. Biggest thing holdin me back is time...... |

Yea man, I hear ya, I keep hearing on here about a place called GMC Pauls,, or Wester Chassis too. I check thier web site and they have a real nice bolt in C-Notch for less then $100.00 duckies. Thats what Im gonna go with. I think "SCOTI" has a pic of them some lace on here.

looks great
,but dude you are going to have to get someone to shear those or find someone with a plasma cutter. that had to take forever with a grinder not to mention the tingling in your joints after you were done.

you are right as you can be, it is loud, my hands ache, and my ears are still ringing from 2 nights ago.....BUTT......I just gotta do it myself. (call me a stubborn redneck) I put myself on an unreasonably low budget to see just how much I could get done with the money allowed. Beside that, I'm a cheap skate too.

If you have a plasma cutter that will cut that thick, I would love to cut it like hot butter. I have everything to "Finish it out with". Yeah man, I know where Hunter loop Rd. is. |

I'm going ahead with this project...
Got some clamps out today and started drilling holes for mounting. Anyone care to give advice on what size hardware I need to use? All input is welcome. Agree or disagree ! ! ! ! ! |

Both of the c-notches I have came with 1/2" & 9/16" grade 8 hardware.
