So i havent updated anything on the forum lately becuase Ive got nothing to update! Been busy with school and its been sooo cold here to do anything in the garage. Today it was in the high 40s low 50s so i managed to get out there and finnish sanding the bed for paint.

I don't have a camera anymore so no photos today. sorry

This weekend I got the cab and whole front cap ready for paint just the roof left to sand.

thanks alot! its called vista blue. ford has them on the new blue mustangs. it has a purple shade in certain light.

Looks great, good work. Are you painting it in your garage at home? how are you handling the fumes and what do your neighbors say?

good questions! i'm lucky.. my neighbors are all cool. the sandblasting was a little out of control for awhile though. one neighbor said she's been getting alot of dust and dirt in her house more than normal this year.

i always did most of my work like that during the day when everyone was working.

We have done all of the painting so far in the garage at home. We just have the bay door half way open with the windows open and fans blowing the fumes out. We have 1 neighbor and havent had a complaint yet. We do most of the work on the weekends so its not a everyday thing. When we get ready to paint the rest of the truck we plan on going to my dads work and using there paint booth.
