That is the rear fender.. Sitting pretty low.. But I still have a killer ride.. Nice and soft. Thanks to the Guys at The Drop Shop here in Portland.

Did you have to raise your panhard bar or was it just due to the notch? Looks like a stripe up your pumpkin, but hard to tell. My 'burb is rubbing due to the bags and stock set-up. Shortened bar, however.

Here is what we did with the Pan hard bar.. No more rubbing anymore.. Sorry the pic angles are kinda bad.. I did not have time to jack it up.. I had to try to slide my arm underneath to grab a quick few..

Thanx, appreciate it. So it is raised at the mount end; its usually under the frame, right? I cant remember right now.

That air cleaner is BADA$$$!!! I love it!! I believe that is a high hump floor. The low humps only come up a couple inches and came in trucks that were either factory automatic or three on the tree.

Re: 66 Short step "Trad Rod" build, A Pabst Blue ribbon theme

It was super easy to work with.. I have worked with other brands in the past.. And the Peel and Seal was easier to work with.. I had the whole floor laid with the Peel and Seal in about 20 minutes.. Worked great!!!!

Tony, If you read this.. Thanks for the tip to Jeff on the Peel and Seal!!

Re: 66 Short step "Trad Rod" build, A Pabst Blue ribbon theme

Ok, so its been a while since I have posted anything on this build. I have a 4 month old so bare with me. Here are some updates. Jack (chevytrucknut), who I now consider a good friend, brought me over the cab corner fillers since I have a stepside. They were bent every which way but, I was given a pat on the back and he said good luck and try these. I spent hours grinding them down and hammering out the old metal. I got them damn near strait. How do you like them? I left them raw steel to kinda go with the patina theme.

Also several of you have asked me how I got the rear tail lights in the step. Here are few pics. Some bent scrap metal to hold them in and few screws. I think the pictures are self explanatory. Let me know what you think.. THanks again Jack!!!

Oh yeah.. And I got some new white walls this week.. She deserved new rubber after being bagged and lowered more. I went with a 70 instead of a 75R series.. Fits a little better and gave me a half an inch or so
